Out of sight out of mind is easy. Self discipline is hard.

  CLEAR

Clear your kitchen countertop of sliced bread, bags of chips, jars of cookies, leftover brownies, soda, and bowls of candy. If you think that they need to stay there for the other people who live with you, they don’t. Just because they don’t need to lose weight doesn’t mean that they should have these unnecessary things in their sight and tummy’s. The entire household benefits by clearing these things out and putting them away into the pantry.

REPLACE

It’s Time to replace those things that would mute hunger and instead have water, boxes of cherry tomatoes and bowls of fruit. You can even think about replacing the bowls of apples, grapes, and tangerines with lemons, plants, spaghetti squash, onions (things that can last on your counter for 3 weeks!). When your kitchen is stocked up with simple foods, and ingredients, they are like tools, and it can be easier to whip up a delicious meal.

BEGIN

Create new stations in your house and encourage a healthy lifestyle. A couple of ideas would be a coffee, smoothie or tea station. If you’re making a smoothie station, store your protein powder, nut butters, and blender for a quicker meal.

CONQUER

It’s time to take on your car and toss the smoothie cup, clear out your desk and hiding spots… You know the secret stash of M&Ms that’s in the top drawer…. If you’re back to traveling, you definitely need to plan ahead. Consider asking the hotel if you can have a room with a mini fridge. Not one that comes pre-stocked with little bottles of alcohol but one that you can add your food to.

BE INTENTIONAL
